H.B.Palan arts and commerce College recently organized Industrial visit at Anjana clock ,Morbi .With the objective of enriching the knowledge and exposure of the students to the market and the role of corporate sector of India in regulating the market, this study visit was organised for the students. Taking advantage of this golden opportunity, all the students of UG and PG program became a part of this exciting visit. The main reason for organizing the visit was to propel experiential education to which the Anjar Education Society is fully committed.
The session started with the students learning about the history ofAnjata clock Pvt.Ltd ; it’s working and current operating system of Ajanta clock .
Ajanta clock visit was very beneficial for the students. Students learned various important aspects of Ajanta clock.
Ajanta Quartz was established in 1971 by a person named Mr.O.R.Patel with the support of his son Mr. Pravinbhai . Morbi is consider as Switzerland of India as it’s famous and major hub for clock manufacturing . The learning session was followed by interactive Questions & Answers round with a Respected Jayesh Bhai Patel ( CEO, Ajanta clock Pvt Ltd ) wherein the students got to speak their minds and share their queries. Mr.Jayesh Patel listened to every query of the students patiently and answered all the questions well.
Such visits are regular features at AES and form part of the curriculum of AES. It is designed to combine practical exposure with academic inputs. These visits prepare the students for facing the challenges in the career. Prof Rina Nathani ,Prof Ravi Kotak and Prof Sneha Mehta , Prof.Minal Rathod from AES ,Anjar accompanied the students and Prof Bhavi Dholokia and Our social media Manager Mr.Sanjay Goswami coordinated with the Industry Resource person.
Dr.Shilpa Shukla Bhatt Campus Coordinator and Principal of college first interacted with the students on some future general aspects & career planning, and the opportunities to get best jobs in the corporate industry during the industrial visit .
This industrial visit exposure will definitely help the commerce students to gain real time knowledge of what they have been learning theoretically or practically.
